Position Objective:
Is the Chapter contact for those potential members in the community or at Chapter
functions who wish to obtain more information regarding the Chapter Benefits of
membership.
Reports to:
The Membership Director reports to the Chapter President. If a Membership Director is
not appointed, the Chapter President shall hold this Office.
Responsibilities:
1. The membership director is responsible for keeping an up-to-date roster of
Chapter members’ names and addresses based on information changes that are
sent to the Chapter, by the Association’s Membership Coordinator on a weekly
basis.
2. Responds to requests for information regarding membership through telephone
calls, personal contacts and correspondence.
3. The Chapter Membership Director shall promptly forward all applications
received to the Association and, likewise, the Association shall promptly notify
the Chapter of all applications processed for Members choosing or required to
belong to the Chapter.
4. Shall ensure that new members are introduced at general membership meetings.
Requirements:
Must be an HRPA member in good standing able to devote sufficient volunteer time to
the duties of the position to ensure that the necessary responsibilities are fulfilled on a
weekly basis.
