The Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) is the professional association
for Human Resource management in Ontario, meeting the needs of the profession and
business community for leading-edge human resources management. With over 15,500
members in chapters across the province, HRPA connects professionals to an
unmatched range of HR information, certification, resources, events, professional
development and networking opportunities.
HRPA-KD currently has 213 members. In the past year, HRPA-KD has experienced the
second highest growth rate of the 28 Chapters. We are proud of our members who have
helped to promote our association and profession.

CHRP DESIGNATION
The professional designation, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), is the
national standard for excellence in human resource management and emphasizes the
critical role of people management in today’s workplace. The CHRP is granted by HRPA
to professionals who have met stringent national standards through formal post
secondary education, training and experience.
In 2008 HRPA-KD has 83 members who have been granted their CHRP designations.
HRPA now requires that CHRP members recertify every 3 years.
HRPA-KD would like to recognize and congratulate the members who have earned the
CHRP designation in 2007/2008 and who have made a commitment to the advancement
of the human resources profession.
